Auto Accidents

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), over three million people across the U.S. are injured each year in auto accidents. Some injuries can leave individuals impaired for a lifetime. The most typical injuries suffered during auto accidents include soft tissue injuries, head injuries, cuts and scrapes, and spinal cord injuries.

I have a very strong intuition and there was no B.S. alarm that went off when we initially talked to them. They taught us that time is everything in this situation! By handling the legal aspects of our case, Pearce Lewis gave us the gift of time.

In an instant and without notice, a car accident can change your life forever. And no matter how cautious a driver you are, you simply cannot control the way the other drivers on the road choose to operate their vehicles.

In the United States and throughout much of the world, car accidents are a leading cause of serious injury and death—in fact, they are the 9th leading cause of death for all people. To put this into perspective, every year, roughly 1.3 million people die in car accidents worldwide—this is an average of 3,287 deaths per day. If you factor in the rise in texting while driving, the National Safety Council reports that 1.6 million car accidents each year are caused by people using their phones while driving and one out of every four car accidents are caused by texting while driving— that’s 25% of all crashes!

Following a serious car accident, your focus should be on your health and recovery. Yet, in these instances before being represented, insurance companies will seize the moment to try to take advantage of you. Their tactics include getting you to accept an unreasonable settlement offer, or getting you to discuss, while they record, your thoughts on your injuries before you have a time to adequately treat and assess them. It is of the utmost importance that when you are seriously injured in an accident you seek out representation before engaging with the insurance companies.

We have seen our fair share of critical accidents and the long-term, or fatal, effect they can have on people’s lives. Not only do we know the law, but we have insider’s knowledge of the insurance industry, which plays a key role in determining how your case plays out and getting you appropriate compensation. More importantly, as a high-touch firm, we take your case and our relationships personally so clients feel confident we will do right by them and appreciate the experience with us.
